Bought this bed over a year ago for my son who is autistic. It's extremely rare for any bed he's owned to last more than a few months without becoming weakened or damaged as a result of what he puts them through. This bed is the exception and has fully stood up to the task without any hint of buckling under pressure. It's very sturdy, comfortable and excellent value for money.

This double bed frame is definately value for money, i was very unsure when I ordered it but its looks really nice and it is very sturdy once assembled. Assembly was pretty straightforward too.The only thing that I don't like is the metal clips that clip onto the frame to keep the mattress in place, they have the holes on them to attach to frame but there are no holes on the frame to bolt them too, so they tend to slide or fall off when making the bed up, once mattress is on they do tend to stay in place, but i would of preferred to attach them but apart from that I am very happy with my purchase.

Now anybody that likes to build things then this is something you will enjoy putting together. If you are disables get it built for you. Easy to put together and all parts, bolts and nuts, including extra's, made this easy. It just takes a little time to put together. It is a little low and the description is a little misleading. The Wood look boards are actually half the size displayed in the pictures which does make you feel short changed. The Metal Frame itself is strong but the wooden parts does make this look wrong as the pictures lie. The base board is actually 1/3 the size of the head board, it looks that size, which is not as seen in the pictures. Other than that issue it is ok and there is no problems. Worth getting if the size of the base board does not interest you.

I've wanted a bed with a style like this for ages and as we all know it usually goes for around £250+ elsewhere. I wanted a black steel bed with wooden accents as my drawers and vanity table are also in this industrial-rustic style but I didn't have the money. Looking on amazon was actually my last choice but then I saw this one for £92 and the only minor negative reviews I saw were that the delivery sometimes was risky and the package would arrive dented. So i figured "hey if it doesnt work out, it was only under £100" but it arrived in perfect condition! was super easy to assemble by myself, and feels so much sturdier having steel slats instead of the usual wooden ones which often slip out or break over time, and overall the bed frame looks super expensive and high quality. I'm very happy! I'll be honest I'm only 5ft2 and I don't weigh a tonne so I can't imagine why this bed wouldnt last. It's also super high platform which is perfect as I can store so much underneath it which was a huge selling point for me as my room is quite small and I dont have much space for storage. Incredibly happy I managed to get something I wanted, and at a good price!

Instructions could not be worse. I genuinely think it would be easier to guess what goes where. None of the screws or bolts are labelled properly. They have put many different ones in the same bag. The instructions do not even specify the length of a screw. As a result I have damaged the head board following those useless instructions.

The bed frame is good but not exceptional. It advertises: "The assembly instructions are very clear and easy to understand". However, I found them to be terrible and some of them wrong. It stated the assembly time approximately 30 minutes for two people. It took two people knowledgeable with assembling items over an hour to complete, mainly due to the poor and sometimes incorrect instructions. The headboard received is lot level with the frame when assembled; it sticks out a little on the sides and I was not able to figure out how this can be corrected. Nevertheless, I consider it to be good value for the price charged.
