OK well my first order of this double bed was rescheduled on the day of arrival due to damaged I transit. The seller instead refunded me then expected me to pay a higher price!! Luckily I got it from another seller for the same price. My second order of this double bed was again rescheduled llon the day of arrival but thankfully arrived 2 days later than planned. Despite the hassle of getting this order finally to my door, I am very delighted with the product. For the price this is an excellent purchase if on a budget. The bed base is of a very good standard and comes with 2 storage draws. Also included is a headboard and double mattress. The mattress is a spring type with a memory foam top not the best but even a separate mattress of this kind would cost more than this order alone!! The bed comes in 2 halfs and was supplied with everything needed to assemble the bed together and attach the headboard. Also included are 8 chrome finished skid feet rather than castors which I like. Overall for less than £200 for a complete double bed set up this is an amazing buy. I'm absolutely sure that other beds of equal quality are available at twice the price of this with no mattress. It's a purchase I'd buy again but I don't need to as I'm sure this will last for years!

The one star is for the entertainment value provided when assembling this bed and realising just how poor the quality is. I'm wondering which poor guest of mine it will collapse on as its made of flimsy wood and brittle plastic fittings. This us a SCAM product as the seller knows you won't be able to return it without huge inconvenience. Amazon should alert customers a little more strongly when people are reporting such poor quality. It actually hurts Amazon's brand. I feel sorry for anyone who hasn't got a great deal of money and chose this product - there are other good quality beds in this price range (likely metal framed).

Look, it’s £200 for a divan double bed with mattress, we knew it wasn’t going to be high end quality, and it shows in certain areas, for instance, we had to glue the drawer fronts back on because they came off when we first opened them as they are not screwed together, just dowel pegs. Plus side, mattress is comfy

First of all, let me start this by saying how much of a nightmare this has been from start to finish. Right off the bat, everything seemed great. Good looking bed, good price. My mum dismantled my old bed expecting it to be delivered last week, only for us to be told it won't be arriving due to it being damaged during transit. Fine, understandable, better waiting than receiving a piss poor bed; it would come next week, and I would sleep on the spare mattress on the floor until then. Aaaand then it arrives. I could tell before even opening the package that this bed is not the one in the picture. The base looks the same, but the seller must be colour blind if they think that a plain brown headboard is the same as the detailed black one shown in the picture (who even puts a brown headboard with a black base?). Once we take it out the packaging, we can see how badly put together it is - staples EVERYWHERE, threads of fabric hanging off the base, and even a bit of the fabric on the actual bed chipped to reveal the white underneath it. Not only that, but the clips to hold the two parts of the base together are plastic — they kept falling off during building and in the long run we're going to replace them with you know, a durable material such as metal. The only good thing about this bed is the mattress. And the man who delivered it. Everything else? Not worth your money. So don't bother.
